Welcome to Tru Community! We believe that every person with developmental disabilities is a wonderful gift of God and has something special to contribute to their community. At Tru, we value the unique personhood of each member and we are grateful for the transformative privilege of sharing in their lives!

Our Day Club is the perfect place for uniquely-abled adults to discover their natural abilities, connect with others, explore new interests and integrate into the wider community in a fun-filled, supportive environment. Who We Serve

Tru Community is designed to support 18+ individuals with a broad spectrum of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What We Offer
Daily Living Skills

Programs designed to aid in retaining and improving real-world adult life skills, including: communication, hygiene, social skills, safety, hygiene, healthy relationships, mobility and more!

Self-Advocacy Development

Awareness of one’s rights and learning to exercise choices responsibly.

Recreation Opportunities

Various outdoor activities, music, art, exercise, fitness, crafts and gardening.

Prevocational Services

Vocational training and work-skill exercises, including volunteer work in a variety of settings.

Community Involvement

Community discovery geared toward building community relationships and partnerships, as well as socialization skills.

Spiritual Enrichment

Optional Bible-based devotions, group prayer, singing and music.
